I’ll never understand anti lgbtq+ people. They absolutely think you can catch gay, and it’s the most maddening, sort of hilarious, mostly depressing thing.
Even more depressing? The vast majority of those hardcore bigots think that because they personally feel the pull to the gay when they see gay things…and so when a bigoted dude sees Ryan Gosling and gets a tingly pee pee, he assumes that it must be possible to catch gay because he is “catching it”. It’s why so many bigots are found to be doing the things they profess to hate. It’s why Grindr explodes when a republican conference is in town. It’s why trans porn is so popular in red states.

Tactics doesn’t really have the RPG parts. There’s no romancing or anything at all. It’s pretty much just combat. You don’t even have a singular PC. Other than your first party, you get random recruits to do with what you want kinda like Xcom.
