I’m sorry that a former rapper and gang-banger had to explain the concept of adoption to his grand-kid. Must have been traumatizing.

I’ve known quite a few older people who were lifetime pot smokers. They all ended up just a little fucked in the head. So much so I quit. Its a myth that pot makes you creative. I figured out how to be chill without it and the ideas I have now really work. While some people I know in my age group who still lean into it are not able to figure out or see the simplest of solutions. Its noticeable and I wish there was some way to study the long term cognitive decline of lifetime smokers. Dude can’t explain how love is love. That its a personal choice everyone gets to make. Sounds like he doesn’t want those kids to be free but be some version he has to approve of.

Yup, same. I know some people that really seem to become less sharp with prolonged pot use. There is no free lunch, all drugs, when taken regularly, fuck you up. But, at the end we all die, so I’m going to enjoy a beer and a smoke every now and then. Just don’t make it a habit, and when in any doubt, do less or quit.

Yeah, I’ve smoked a few times in the last five years. Less then five times. Usually in a social situation. Its the wake and bake dailies that will harm you. I really don’t miss it. I was self medicating past abuses and as soon as I confronted them I didn’t need it anymore.

It’s all starting to make sense. Excessive marijuana use makes people gravitate toward conservative ideology. Man are all those old hippies going to be upset when I give them the news.

Apparently I need to add this: /s

My son just started third grade. It is actually super easy to answer questions like this if you’re a kind person who allows others to keep their humanity if they are different, and if you actually cultivate a relationship with your child.

Explaining how two women parent a child? Wow, that must be tough my snoop guy. Better to just hide from the public like a little bitch, as you might say.

I mean, I’ve had to address things like the topic of death because of a grandparent dying young and a future sibling ending in a miscarriage. And the original due date recently passed too. oof.

But thank fucking god that in my family’s weakened state, none of us were assaulted by the vile image of two women holding hands and kissing a baby on the head at the same time.

Check this out though Dogg: if you were sent back 50 years in time with white skin and no memory, within a week you’d be fighting to bring back segregation. Cunt.

And seeing as it’s his grandkid, he can even just say, “Ask your parents.”, if he wants to be a real coward about it.

smh, why does it have to be everyone else’s problem that people don’t want to talk to their (grand)kids?

While his take here is shitty, I think doing drugs and having sex with women for money is not something that warrants out right condemnation imo.

His involvement in murder and assault, and the sexual assault and battery accusations are much more damming and legit reasons to shit on him though.

I don’t know if hypocrisy is the right term. Maybe in an extremely broad sense but then it starts to lose its meaning.

i’m reading it as a dig on things that are indicative of his general demeanour and the way he has historically wished to be perceived. it’s not about smoking weed and banging hoes (both of which i must point out are illegal in most of the world still), it’s about being someone who hoes weeds and bangs smoke, and then drawing the line at a queer couple. it’s not “a person”, it’s specifically snoop.

in that situation, him also having produced pornos lines up.

And thats problematic in just… So many fucking ways.

Like i genuinely dont even know where to start, but maybe: it feels a little homophobic, and also you’re accepting the puritanical cultural framework of what is and isn’t transgressive, that makes a drag queen reading books to kids more outrageous than avpriest fucking them.

And im saying we shouldnt validate that. Fuck them, they’re wrong about basically everuthing, including being conservative.

Like the greek classics statuewank guys who dont want to see the original pain jobs or all the gay sex people had in front of them.

Like, if they can’t compromise, cant consider us human, why pretend, why try to compromise with them? Just tell them its whatever compromise the left comes up with by ourselves, or the highway. I bet it would even work better politically.

Broadly it might not be worthy of condemnation, but in the context of “child appropriate” it would seem to be way less appropriate than what he is complaining about.
