I’m sounding like a broken record even to myself, but again: until there are consequences for actions like these (and there will be none), they will continue and escalate. I think US is way past the possibility of legal consequences, so the only way is people banding together and providing consequences on their own. Sadly, I don’t see that happening either…
people are still too coddled by thier current creature comforts, in most places, ice hasnt hit them yet, so its out of sight out of mind, and surely they wont hit wealthier areas either. as long as ice or trump doesnt invade on rich areas, hes in the clear to do as he pleases.

I think preparing for violence is smart, but I don’t support starting it at all until you have at least a majority of the public in your organized faction, with support from trustworthy allies abroad.
I think a good lesson to learn is from the Spanish in the 1936 Civil War. You can have all the revolutionary spirit in the universe and be up against literal nazis but life isn’t a story book and you can still lose.
That said, you might not have to wait long for the other side to start the violence, as Trump just took control of Capitol Police and is talking about mobilizing National Guard on blue states.
This is all terrible. I’ve noticed there’s often a money making theme behind these stories. The woman in the video said to have water she would have needed to buy a cup. I saw a video a while back about a British woman trying to exit the US only to end up detained by ICE. For her release her family needed to pay a large sum of money from a US bank account.
This feels like concentration camps, but instead of murdering people for gold they’re now holding people to ransom.
Cruelty is the point. I hope we can put all involved on trail and that we can say fuck that to the defense of “just following orders” will not fly.

People need to fight back. I don’t know the best way to do that. Unfortunately, many platforms are owned by the rich who don’t care about this, and collaborators that are happy to “removed by mod” anything too spicy.
Perhaps if people formed groups. Like one group of three hundred people, another group of three hundred and eight people, another big group with five hundred and fifty six people, and like nine people to hand out fliers. Then you replicate that many times. Something like that could really make a big music festival.
