At first I thought that, surely, this was just someone reheating pizza in a skillet with a splash of water added, which is a time-honored tradition that can have very good results if done right, but I’m looking at the water level compared to the rivets and the height of the pot, and no, someone is just. Boiling a pizza. This is why God has abandoned us.

This reminds me of those videos a couple years ago - “what I cook for my blue collar husband” - where it looks like she’s trying to kill him with sugar, oil, and salt.

I don’t know how I know this but I think they’re British. They boil fucking everything before eating it and even season pies with water.

    Br*tish people seasoning with water

TBF I was taught to use water on pies, it makes the crust of the pastry develop a shiny crisp edge.

That video is 25 minutes long, how far in do they season with water? Also what’s that wet green stuff on the plate with the pie and potatoes?

09:18 where they water the half finished pies with a garden watering can. The green stuff is some kind of runny pea soup? I’m taking the piss out of them here but all of this is probably delicious despite being seasoned with a gardening can of fresh water.

Mmm, pizza broth… Actually, would that be considered broth, or would it be too thin?
