They did not imply it. They said that executing POW’s is not genocide but a war crime. Then they provided a good example showing why it is a war crime and not genocide.
You are imagining them saying something they did not say.
They definitely implied it by denying Russian genocide, ignoring relevant historical context, and then drawing a false equivalency on the standard of genocide by saying: “If this is your standard for genocide then you should also be saying Ukraine is committing genocide.”
The example wasn’t very good when surrounded by context. That article is also reports by Russia, unverified by independent sources (read: propaganda). I didn’t imagine anything, I just read it and I am familiar with how these types operate. Same playbook as MAGA.
You’ll notice further down the chain they refuted nothing, used a buzz word, and resorted to mockery.
Still waiting on your response about using propaganda as a “good example”.
Okay. You didn’t read the articles I linked and you don’t mention or seem to understand why the historical context is relevant and important to that incident.
I don’t even think you read that article they linked, because it comes from Russian sources with no independent verification. Most likely it is propaganda. Is it still directly applicable? Am I still the one making stuff up? Keep on defending tankies though.
9 hours later and still waiting on your response about how Russian propaganda that’s unverified by any independent source is “directly applicable”?? Almost like you’re a liar.
None of the articles you linked imply Russia is currently committing genocide in Ukraine. A list of past genocides including the Nazis has little relevance on the present. Except that you are admitting the current invasion is not a genocide… because it is not on the list you linked.
Calling everything tankie is not an argument and you should stop doing it.
Love how you ignore the propaganda part of their article while misrepresenting and cherry picking Nazis in mine. Very cool. I’m going to tag you as “Poor literacy” and move on with my day.
“According to a United Nations special committee, Amnesty International, and many other experts and rights organisations, Israel has committed genocide against the Palestinian people during its ongoing invasion and bombing of the Gaza Strip as part of the Gaza war.[34][35][36]”
“According to multiple national governments,[17][18][19][20] international organisations,[21][22][23][24] independent experts and media outlets,[25][26][27] Russia and its ally Belarus are committing genocide against the Ukrainian people as part of the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War,”
The very FIRST sentences in the articles. The only self-own here was you by only reading the headlines. Again, very poor literacy. Both are still ongoing and that is how language works.
Still waiting for that response to the Russian propaganda article that wasn’t verified by independent sources. You’re very pro-independent sources right? Or is that only when it bolsters your argument?

Still waiting on why unverified reports by Russia (propaganda) is a “good example” lmao
Did I imagine that too?
Downvotes and has not once mentioned how their entire argument hinges on false propaganda.

They linked an article about Ukrainians executing POW’s. That is a directly applicable comparison to this post.
They mocked you because you are making up things they did not say.

Okay you definitely didn’t read them then. In the last section of Genocide in Ukraine:

You are in for a massive self-own by using Wikipedia.
Your page says “allegations by organisations”. This means there is no consensus of a genocide taking place.
This js what an actual Wikipedia article of a genocide looks like:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_genocide
“According to a United Nations special committee, Amnesty International, and many other experts and rights organisations, Israel has committed genocide against the Palestinian people during its ongoing invasion and bombing of the Gaza Strip as part of the Gaza war.[34][35][36]”

Notice the difference between my sources: independent international bodies and your sources: pro-Ukraine organisations.
Ukraine can ask the UN for an investigation if they believe they have case. But they will not do that and we both know why.
Here is another source proving me right: literally Wikipedia
Still waiting for that response to the Russian propaganda article that wasn’t verified by independent sources. You’re very pro-independent sources right? Or is that only when it bolsters your argument?
