It’s clearly spoofing something culturally relevant, but I’ve never known what famous movie it’s based upon.

- The song isn’t “about the movie”, Simon and Garfunkel literally composed the song for the movie. The soundtrack of that movie is entirely Simon and Garfunkel songs.
Close! Mrs Robinson is the name of the song and the older woman in the movie. While the younger man is being seduced by the older woman (who happened to be a married family friend), her daughter who is around his age catches his eye.
