Sock/shoe, sock/shoe usually. I never wear socks unless I am putting on shoes to leave the house, so i collect the socks and shoes I’m wearing and put them on all at once right before I leave. Sock/shoe, sock/shoe minimizes the possibility of my socks picking up stray hair/lint/etc and shoving it into my shoes.

Ok seriously, what kind of psychopath puts on their socks right before putting on their shoes?

It goes, wake up, eat breakfast, shower, t-shirt socks pants, then you mill about losing precious time, THEN you panic and run into the hallway put on the shoes and go out the door.

What kind of barbarian dystopia are you people living in?!

Sock sock while getting dressed, then moccasin moccasin for puttering around. Then it’s shoe shoe with leaving home.

I have either a pair of socks or a pair of shoes in my hands. So doing anything else besides sock/sock shoe/shoe would require me to put things down only to pick em up again a second later which would be stupid.

Or I can go shoe/shoe and then sock/sock and watch the whole world burn.

I don’t wear socks inside the house. Wear closed toe shoes outside mostly for work (boots), otherwise it’s thongs or similar. I put my socks on in the mudroom along with my boots, so its sock/boot, sock/boot.

Shoe, sock; shoe, sock, of course.

You all still do socks before shoes like little kids? Uh, ok. /s

If the floor is wet like at the pool, it’s sock shoe sock shoe.

Any other time it’s sock sock shoe shoe, because I am not tracking the outside world into my house or bedroom, and the shoes are at the front door.

Oh, you don’t use the dressing room?

Well you are right, at our local pool you leave shoes at the racks before walking barefoot down the hallway to the dressing rooms, but when leaving the pool I still go sock-shoe because that is a public outdoor shoe mat.

Socks first, then shoes. Mainly because I put my shoes on at the door and my sox on in the bedroom when I wake up.

    if i’m where the shoes are, it’s sock-shoe, sock-shoe.

if i’m not… it’s sock-sock, then slippers or crocs until i get to the door where the shoes would then be.
