Thought it was a moody piss jug at first glance
Motherfucker needs to hydrate
With sweet tea
The great circle of life.
An out of focus Amazon van in the background would instantly alter the whole vibe of the image in that direction, for sure.
Moody Piss Jug is the name of my new Punk/Shoegaze band.

John sat down beside the old horsetrack. The sound of clacking hooves had dissapeared months ago, along with the voices of people. He watched the clouds passing by at unnatural speed, churning and changing colors. Whatever it was that had brought this mysterious and sudden plight upon humanity, had a cruel ironic beauty in it. Maybe today his batch would finally show the promised effect. He stared at the jar. This must be it. The final remedy promised in the scrolls and books he had studied for so long. The sweet tea to heal them all and end this beautiful madness. He filled a cup … and drank it.
Instantly, a sense of overwhelming power and justice grew out of his stomach and rattled his teeth. Casting aside the lingering thoughts about sugar and caffeine content, he curled his hand into an almighty fist, wound himself down tight whilst fixating at the sky above, and then, with a deep beath, released. The effect was immediate, a hot stewy mass descended down his left trouser leg with a movement so swift that he knew he would not need to wipe.
That’s some weird bokeh. What lens is this?
My guess is it’s digital processing, phones are increasingly baking it into certain photo modes.
It usually doesn’t look like that though.
Some weird or really old lenses can have effects like this though.
A small jpg with normal bokeh that was then fed into an AI “upscaler” that is desperately inventing details.
Da fuck is a bokeh? Sounds like a typo
Photography word for the out of focus bits. The design of the lens, shape and quantity is aperture blades, maximum aperture size, distance to the subject, all kinds of stuff make the blurry bits different. Phones often try to fake this with a portrait mode setting.
Ah, im assuming it is a word of non-english origin then. I’ll look it up, curious of the pronunciation
Iirc it’s Japanese but morphed to stop people pronouncing it boak
A bundle of flowers
groc
The bokeh makes no sense at all, it’s either added by a (terrible) smartphone software or, of course, good old AI slop.
You can make custom bokeh patterns, y’know.
I know that, I even tried it in the past. If you zoom in on the trees, you’ll see that the bokeh looks totally off. Soft and pixelated at the same time, that just doesn’t add up.
“
AccidentallyCasually.” That was definitely intentional framing. Otherwise the tea would have been centered. The composition is just too solid for me to believe it wasn’t on purpose.
*”casually”
Thanks! Corrected.
Looks like AI slop upscaling on the background. Might be some sort of in-camera post processing.
There’s either a line of tall, single, white posts down the middle of the brown patch of dirt, or the distance fence posts got extended somehow.
yeah the background is fucky, like a sharpened blur effect or something
Man don’t you remember the Instagram hashtagnofilter days with bullishit filters, I’ve seen filters do this
My old S4 and S8 did take pictures like that. Especially the S4 with heavy post processing using Snapseed.
Boosted highlights, boosted contrast, boosted shadows.
Sweet dolla tea from McDonald’s - I drink that.
