I’d imagine because they don’t see the US ever being considered a stable place to invest in again, especially by high- and clean-tech companies.

I’ve never even been able to afford to go on vacation outside the United States, what on earth makes you think I can afford to move somewhere else? And that’s assuming that I can get the visa sponsorship necessary to even do it.

I would hope for a skilled worker such as this, it would be an easier job to immigrate, but yeah it’s often not as easy as people make it out to be
