I had a similar series of thoughts about religion relating to this story. It is reasonable to presume they support childhood religious indoctrination, specifically because of the malleability of youthful minds. Children are more open about imaginary friends than adults. At the same time, these states don’t want to acknowledge that a youthful mind is not yet a mature, adult mind, capable of understanding cause and effect as it relates to criminal behavior? Now that there’s some kind of MOU between Trump and Iran, Florida gas prices dropped back to about $3.60 (but not to $3 pre-war levels). The highest gas prices in the US are in Hawaii and California.

I was watching a video about the Chumash Indians, how they were moved to and congregated around the missions of Southern California (to save their souls) where they got European diseases and died. I’ve visited several of those missions multiple times, those stories are not advertised. It seems the concept of hiding our truths has a deep and storied history, just like in this Smithsonian story. It’s interesting to think of the desire to avoid Universal Basic Income in the context of Trump’s recent outburst about communism. Raimando was a democrat, not a republican. There are times when the parties sound too much the same.

Euthanasia generally means killing painlessly. Is a bullet painless and fast? Folks who survive gunshot wounds say they felt a burning sensation. Did the canines lose consciousness immediately after being shot? Or did they live for a time afterward? Lots of unknowns.

They seem to be equating death by bullet with euthanasia. Perhaps this news item is incomplete, but I feel bad for those dogs and their former owners.
