      They’ve been putting up anti-education billboards in my neck of the woods. I’ve even seen anti-education Youtube ads

        In the USA, conservative “leaders” are typically control freak bullies who want a population that is easy to manipulate, which is why they prefer most of their constituents be less educated so they don’t realize how much BS they’re being fed until it’s too late. They are the same in every country, regardless of what name they go by.

        ETA: Your inability to recognize or appreciate the joke because you’re too primed to be offended speed how well trained they have you.

          We do, but it’s not like America. Our politics lies more left than America. So while we do have right wing parties, they’re typically much less extreme than America. Though the current politics (and the most right wing party) are being funded/pushed by the Atlas Network which is fucking dire.

          Also, while our culture has a lot of influence from Christianity, it’s not a big part of the political sphere.
