I guess fashions come and go, but I never understood the appeal of that bright/flat, chalk/paper white color on nails.

Not worth withholding the tip, just, I don’t want to think about dirty, smelly feet next to my food

Also I fucking hate tip culture

I have a friend who is also a foot anti-fetishist. I find being revolted by feet equally inexplicable to being aroused by them, but both are fine I guess.

Personally, it’s not so much the feet themselves that are a turnoff but attempts to appeal to foot fetishists annoy me and obsession or focus on feet turn me off.

It’s like those skits of someone doing dirty talk to turn a partner on but they keep talking about stuff that is either not hot at all or more offputting or confusing than hot.

Though this one is subtle enough that it would probably go unnoticed, at least until I saw this post (going forward it will be obvious). Not that I use those food delivery services at all.

In my small countryside town, there’s like 4 delivery drivers. Only one of them gets a tip. They call ahead and hand me the food.

The others just put the food down and take a picture.

People saying because it’s a woman but honestly I was thinking it works because you’re creating a small human connection in a system that alienates us from each other, providing “value” we didn’t know we nedded

I think it’s the human aspect. I used to Doordash and there was a noticeable uptick in after-delivery tips when I put a thumbs up in my delivery photos

The delivery services I have used do have a small profile photo of the driver so maybe this is correct, but if you’re sad enough to tip more because of feet in a dropoff confirmation picture, you probably don’t care as much if the person is attractive or not.

Also, The random girl in the meme is not the woman who did this in the delivery photos.

i think it’s more of an unconscious thing. doubt they see the photos and think “hot, I’ll tip her more so she comes back”, rather it’s more like those experiments where people tipped more to strippers based on their estrus. 100% subconscious

Maybe I’m just ignorant to what drives my own biological monkey brain, but I think that if someone somehow is oblivious to the wider opening of their wallet because “potential mate” reasons, the individual just lacks self awareness.

My thought as well. Humanizing yourself makes me think about the situation you’re in to be driving door dash and the situation I’m in to be ordering it. I ran into my diaper wipes deliverer yesterday and though should I tip? For delivery from a website, something i don’t tip for. But I made contact with the driver and I was grateful for their service in delivery. I think it’s human nature to be easier to tip light if you can forget a human person was involved

There’s petabytes of free porn on the internet and yet tons of weirdos pay for subscriptions to porn sites. Such is life

Maybe thank these weirdos once in a while, my dude. It’s thanks to them that there is petabytes of free porn. Like even most “amateur” porn are made by independent artists who hope to get paid by a weirdo. If nobody paid, there would be no industry and there would be no treasure trove of free porn.

All the best media has already been made, hasn’t it? What’s new in the industry, Isekai? VR?

As long as I set a date in the past and stick to only consuming the media before that date, I don’t owe those weirdos any thanks, since they no longer contribute to the development of anything I watch.

So this is why I should be able to pirate snes roms, no idea what you are talking about.

People created art and music for no profit as far back as the records go. If there was no profit motive, people would still make porn. There wouldn’t be as much porn, but there would totally still be porn to be found.

Let me be an annoying pedant here and say that a huge number of media is made without profit incentives, we humans create a lot and share it for the fun of creating, be it free games, fan fiction or even music.

Sure I rarely consume such media for being a corporate slut, but you didn’t know that.

    In what app?

I have to tip when I order like I’m a psychic about the level of service I’m going to receive. If I was prompted to tip after, my food would probably come with less pubes and spit.

Doordash puts the tip in the order so that drivers can view them as bids for service, and they generally snatch up the highest tipping orders immediately. Low/no tip orders with long distances or a lower rated customer might languish, unclaimed, because drivers won’t want to take them for insufficient pay.
