I completely stopped listening to the radio because a few commercials were playing sirens to get you attentions before playing the actual ad. Like, could you not?

All songs with sirens should start with an advisory, like in the lyrics by the lead singer, with the opening chords, so it plays every time.

“Yo, motherfuckers, we got sirens comin’ up in this bitch, so crack a window in case the popo sneak up on your ass during the chorus.”

(Hello fellow kids do we still say popo?)

I’m in the UK, we have different siren sounds than the US - and I still do this when I hear a siren on a song by a US band or artist.

I had to completely drop a PODCAST! that was doing this with background music. I tried to power through it and nearly lost my marbles.

I’ve been bitching for years that one very good application of AI would be a driving mode overlay that would mute out siren sounds in songs. I’d settle for something that could search my local song library and tag them at least.

The new galaxy headphones have a siren detection mode, so I feel like we are getting close.
