At this point, I think I’d even be ok with other countries bringing democracy like we’ve brought democracy to other countries over the past few decades. Sure, it could get worse but, it’s already a low bar

We can force news agencies to abide by a journalistic code, or they can be easily sued. Altering photos and videos to create a false narrative should be a serious crime.
Opinion must be labeled as such, and cannot be called News. Fox News can be called Fox Politics, or Fox Opinion, but it cannot be called Fox NEWS, and it must carry on-air warnings that it’s content is NOT news, it is only opinion. The same with any source that refuses to abide by accepted journalistic standards.
All of this can be done without violating the 1st Amendment.

When this is over, we absolutely can NOT move forward the way we have in the past, pretending the last guys didn’t shit all over the Constitution, and allowing them to continue as usual.
If America expects to redeem itself in the eyes of its Citizens, the World, and History, then we must deal decisively with MAGA as the Domestic Terrorists and National Security Threat that they truly are.
