Adams had reportedly been receiving end-of-life care for the past week, just over six months after he announced his prostate cancer had spread to his bones
Can’t believe another anti-vax guy was killed by a preventable and treatable condition. Prostate cancer is one of the more survivable forms of cancer (10-year relative survival rate of 98% with proper treatment). I wonder if he did the fruit juice enemas like Steve Jobs or he just tried to Straight Edge his way through it, because he didn’t want to live with Low T.
Think it depends. Like a lot of other cancer stuff, there’s variability. Most of the common prostate cancer is that easy and in fact they don’t even treat it. My wife’s grandfather was told they would basically do nothing until it started getting bad., and he died of unrelated heart failure years later without his cancer progressing.
Sounds like his was not so livable. Also unclear if he tried ivermectin instead of traditional treatment, or as an additional hail Mary. I’ve known people who had cancer and they tried anything and everything alongside their treatment, in case anything would help. I also knew one guy that thought just vitamin c would cure his cancer and declined any other treatment, and got killed by what may have been a supremely treatable cancer.
I think that’s because prostate cancer can be slow spreading and at advanced age (70s 80s) you have much more chance of dying from something else before it becomes an issue so why risk the surgery. In your 50s or 60s it’s a whole different calculation.

Adams had metastic prostate cancer. If it spreads the survivor rate goes way down.
Took my uncle in 6 months. Good reason to get your butt checked on schedule!
I looked it up after reading this comment
He says he tried Ivermectin to treat his cancer lol. Npr article about it, says he didn’t discuss any specifics of his treatment other than that
Edit: newer article indicates he eventually did seek actual treatment
He probably sought actual treatment too late. Prostate cancer that is caught early enough is basically a non-issue.

Is there a prostate cancer GoFundMe I can contribute to so we can have more of this?
