If you talk to some american christians they will tell you catholics aren’t christians.
If you talk to some Americans they will tell you that many American Christians aren’t Christians.
If you talk to some Christians they will tell you many Catholics aren’t Americans (I assume)
If you talk to some Americans they’ll even tell you many Americans aren’t Americans!
Well it’s literally a definition thing. You can argue that they aren’t true believers or something asking those lines but Catholicism is literally, by definition, a Christian faith.
I think what they mean by “christian” is protestant but they don’t know what that word means so just say “catholics aren’t christians”.
