A letter published on Wednesday from more than 1,000 past and present workers of the health and human services department (HHS) has demanded the resignation of Robert F Kennedy Jr, insisting the health secretary’s attacks on vaccines endangered the lives of all Americans.
The hard-hitting letter, addressed to Congress members, blames Kennedy for turmoil at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including the firing of the agency’s chief and replacement by a Donald Trump loyalist with no medical or scientific background.
It genuinely baffles me when groups make appeals to the morals of immoral people. Like, honestly, what the actual fuck do you expect will happen? Do you think there’s gonna be any reaction outside of “he’s going to laugh at you and then ignore you”?
Because it isn’t about actually making said assholes change.
The point is to get news stories like this that raise awareness amongst The People. And it is generally a way to show that domain experts think this is bad.

There is a social endorsement factor. Like with YouTube. People aren’t watching the vids with 4 views because the social endorsement isn’t there. The same applies here.
It’s why the women’s March on Washington, globally even, gathered such momentum the first time T was elected.
The women’s March had the full throttle of the media behind it as well.

If being unqualified prevented people from having government jobs there would be a lot more open positions.
