Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s comments about autism are part of a long legacy of right-wing politicians deciding which people’s lives are and are not worth living.
A good deal of them are people who have autistic kids. They absolutely despise their kids because they fantasize about the non-autistic child they think they could have had “if their kid only didn’t get that vaccine that turned them autistic”.
That’s the thought pattern. I fucking seen it in person and it’s fucking disgusting.
BTW, these same fuckweeds also like to martyr themselves on the cross of all the things they have "sacrificed’ for their autistic kids. As if loving and supporting your kid no matter what isn’t something they should be doing anyway.
Like over half of autism “advocacy” out there is just affirmation for the self-deluded parents of autistic kids who secretly think it’s their fault that their kid is autistic (Even though it’s not) and so need to externalize blame elsewhere. Autism advocacy is a minefield because of these people.

So it’s just traumatized idiots, turned into narcissists and tribal sycophants?
They traumatize themselves though. That’s the point I’m making.
