Jesus, I had heard that Canadians were starting to refuse to travel to the US, even if only for a layover. This is WAY more of a drop than I expected. Good on them for standing up for a good cause.

I know more than a few Americans where I live that are wary to fly anywhere now that Chucko Fucko and Mr. Angry Mangled Inch are gutting Air Traffic Control.

To be clear, we’ve been reluctant to connect through America for a while. It’s just too much hassle and risk of getting a TSA droid on a bad day and missing a flight because of some guy’s ego. So we often go around.

I watched the second tower fall with my own eyes. I was so ground-zero in the weeks following that I get PTSD from the nuts4nuts carts. I suffered troopies on the MTA platforms, thankful I profiled ‘harmless’.

But America has been Too Much for about a decade. If I was going to Atlanta or Queens, okay. I’m not even connecting through LA, though, otherwise; and never, now. And YYZ burns brain cells, but that’s where we are.
