          NICU

          N = neonatal (newborn subset of pediatrics)

          ICU = intensive care unit

          pediatrics = branch of medicine having to do children and infants

    My dad lol.

    Old folks get cold easy, but he hates the sound of a heater. So, boom, heat lamp.

    Humans in general, humans in cold places, humans with thermal disregulation, humans who want tan, humans who want to die from dehydration, humans who want skin cancer (see tanning lights)

    Tons of people use personal space heaters. It’s not that far off to compare it to a heat lamp.

    Some people need sunlight fixtures in their home due to low vitamin d.

    Not a lamp, but I developed cold urticaria in my 30s; my skin gets rashy if it’s exposed to cold air. I get really bad hives if I’m in cold water, and I need to wear full ankle-to-wrist pajamas or else I get itchy while I’m trying to sleep, just from the cold of the sheets. I’m seriously considering adding an electric heating pad to my bedtime routine.

      You should try one of those heated fitted sheets/blankets that go under the sheets.

    I had a special lamp that mimicked sunlight for SAD for a while.

    Not specifically for heat, but seasonal depression lamps exist.
