I think for proper good change to happen, unfortunately things will get worse, but not for a long time, then they will get better once we redefine "business as usual "

I believe wholeheartedly that we’ll have all our shit straightened out in about 3 generations or so, or at least we will have new problems different than our current ones. Assuming we survive the climate catastrophe that is.

But the next 100-200 years are about to be real fucking bad for a lot of people.

I got to argue your timeline, kinda.

I think massive change will happen in the next 10 years, but if we do it right, we will only have a few years of problems. Either we all die slowly from climate change and poverty, or fix things quickly.

I think your timeline is definitely a possibility if it’s worse case scenario but if we target individuals who are harming us and our planet we can remove them from whatever position we allowed them to be in, fix stuff and hopefully not have critical infrastructure/supply chains be in ruins, but rather in a state that can be repaired quickly before the people start to suffer more than they were.
