A new survey has found that a record number of registered voters in the United States oppose the war on Iran and believe there is no strategy to end it.
A survey published on Thursday by Fox News found that 71 percent of voters believe the Trump administration “lacks a clear strategy” for ending the hostilities, which have helped to raise inflation and send fuel prices soaring.

Yeah literally no one wanted this
Dedicated conservatives are like “he broke this promise” lol
“Isn’t there someone in this room you’re not getting to ask” - American oil executives.
This has been one of the biggest boons to American oil producers in the nation’s history. Not only has this irreparably damaged opec, but it’s happening at the same time we have sanctions on Russia, and have control over Venezuelan oil reserves.
America’s foreign policy is directly being controlled by big oil.
Yeah they’ve always been the real controllers of the party, congrats to stupid rednecks and their fell for it again award
We have sanctions on Russia? Didn’t Trump try to block all of those?
Nah, I think at one point he agreed to ease certain sanctions as a bargaining tool, but I’m not sure if they were ever paused. Even if some were eased in the past new sanctions on both Iran and Russia just passed through the house today.
They’re blaming Biden, either for starting the war, or for giving nukes to Iran. I wish I was kidding. I hear it all day at work.
Some sure are, regardless of how they are dealing with the cognitive dissonance, trying to blame someone else or just not think about it or some platitude like “well I don’t agree with EVERYTHING he does…”, no one outside of a pretty small circle actually APPROVE.
I mean, Biden does get his fair share of blame here for slow-walking negotiations with Iran among other things. He obviously didn’t start the war, but his choices led to prolonging the post-JCPOA situation where such a war was even possible. That doesn’t excuse Trump, you know, starting the damn war, but there’s plenty of blame to go around.
Also his unwavering support of military aid for Israel put them in the position where they felt like they could push for this
If there’s anything the last 10-15 years of politics should have taught us it’s that we need to neutralize the Joe Bidens and Hillary Clintons of the world or we’re going to inevitably end up with more Donald Trumps seizing power
That sounds like a both-sides argument to soften the garbage and lies Trump has perpetuated.
Biden was having talks starting in 2021. Needless to say, Iran both refused to agree on terms and insisted that talks be held via an intermediary, even though Washington was willing to negotiate directly with Iran, slowing negotiations further.
That’s a far cry from Biden “slow-walking.”
My tolerance for this kind of bullshit has been low lately, so if you’re going to continue this assuming I’m an undercover MAGA just tell me so I can do something better with my time.
The original JCPOA took 18 months to negotiate, and the Iranian elected government (which, yeah, it’s not very powerful but they have one of those) was run by moderates at the time. Trump reneging on the JCPOA helped the hardliners win the next election, and the Iranians of course lost what little trust they had in America for the same reason, so by all means it was going to be harder than the original run. Biden did not do a better job, or even the same quality of job, as Obama. For example you have him refusing to walk back Trump-era escalation requested by Netanyahu and reneging on his own word to back up Israel. And, of course, he did nothing (or whatever he did wasn’t very successful) to restrain Israel from escalating with Iran in this period, which can’t have helped him earn the Iranians’ trust. In short, he thought he could play hardball when he had to earn back the Iranians’ trust that his predecessor had squandered.

Lady G did, because he’s definitely the one we should definitely trust with stuff like this.
