    This was my 16 year old Foster son’s takeaway from his convict mentor. His mentor went to prison, then he turned his life around and makes good money and has a family. My son decided that that meant it was an acceptable life trajectory… a good one even… to go to prison. That he could turn his life around without becoming a felon just didn’t compute.
