I found the best solution is just to put a small piece of foam tape overthe hole on the top. It greatly attenuates the sound, and still keeps the beep for others who want it but only when you’re close to it
Ive also filled the hole with glue. Same thing
Do you have a preferred foam tape?
I’m probably going to be buying some in the next couple weeks (I will probably need some shims) and anything foamy will work
I normally use tesa double-sided mounting tape.
