It’s what every language does, to some extent. You’d really struggle to say, “I was working from home, sending emails and providing feedback, and during a meeting with my team and the marketing manager, the internet died” in German without stuffing the sentence to the brim with English loanwords.

Plenty in French too! And this is just English; my point is that loanwords are super common.
