I just wanted to start this post off by saying, thank you for allowing me to join Lemmus!
As someone who is very new to this site, I will say Lemmus’ site format and the atmosphere in each respective community, are leagues better than those of Reddit. I feel a massive weight off my shoulders, after breaking away from Reddits dumbass karma system, that has made Reddit insufferably unusable.
Speaking of Satan, I felt it was necessary to make the switch from Reddit to a newer and more refreshing alternative like Lemmus, because of the unprovoked toxicity, and constant cock fighting with unprofessional, immature moderators, who police the site like a fucking third reich schutzstaffel from 1942.
To conclude this post, I thank the community of Lemmus again, for letting me join the website. I hope to make many more memorable shitposts, shitting on Reddit, to laugh about it with people in the community. That concludes this Ted talk, as you all were 👋🏼

L analogy. You can actually smell a fart in an enclosed space. I get what you’re saying, but to be met with hostility over an honest mistake is Reddit mod behavior. That’s a red flag for newcomers to this platform, I’m just saying…
This AI slop photo (That I didn’t create btw) isn’t harming anyone except Reddit moderators. You all need to calm down, for real and stop smelling your own farts… You sit in shit long enough, you start not to smell it.
This is just users downvoting bad content. That analogy makes no sense. I assume the moderators here will take no action because (as you have mentioned already), it does not break any rules here. But individual users have every right to downvote slop, just as they do on literally every platform. That is all that is happening here, as well as users kindly trying to explain what went wrong here.
Out of most of the comments here, I only spotted one kind comment, while every other comment is an accusation of my character and some dude called me an “idiot” out of nowhere. My hostility is warranted and I’m going to stand up for myself against an ambush, if I’m being held in contempt for such a silly reason.
Sure, they can downvote my post for having an AI generated photo they don’t like, I’m not saying the opposite. But to berate me and act like, I just committed murder for posting an AI photo to a shitpost on Lemmus is overkill
There is literal treason happening under every human beings nose, within their governments, and corporations who have bought our governments, with agendas to wipe out the world population, but me posting an AI generated photo of your typical Reddit moderator, is where you all draw the line? You can’t make this shit up…
Just take the L and let it go. Nobody here likes to see generated images and we don’t care about what it’s supposed to depict. You are facing like a minimal amount of backlash of everyone saying we don’t like such content. At the moment I wrote this comment there were no comments mean to you until you responded defending what everyone here hates.

Why the fuck aren’t you all this upset and outraged about the AI tech overlords ruining the entire world as we speak? Why aren’t you all furious, pulling out pitchforks and torches, lined up outside every social media platforms HQ? Idk, the outrage you’re all displaying seems performative. Hold this L bruh…
But we are? There have been working movements against data centers and siding with data centers costs politicians’ elections. Also vigilantes have been cutting down flock camera which use “AI” technology. Anything more than that is basically only starting a civil war, because data centers and technocrats are quite guarded.
Also one of the main reasons why we use fediverse is because we dislike technocrats and believe in free software as in freedom.
That’s cool, and every point you made is valid, no doubt about it.
However, there are better ways to promote your cause while making it known, that AI is generally shunned across this platform without everyone in the community jumping down my throat about Lemmus ettiquette I didn’t know about. Like I said for the millionth time, I’m new to this platform and didn’t know.
The unwarranted hostility off this post alone, makes me not want to even engage with any of you. You all give off this self centered energy, like you don’t really give a shit to engage in civil conversation, but be insufferable assholes to people because you can, just like Reddit.
