Some 92 percent have delayed or abandoned medical care because of costs, according to a survey of 1,507 U.S.adults by financial services firm JG Wentworth.
High prices at the doctor’s office, urgent care, emergency room and more have led to 85 percent of Americans having medical debt. Collectively, American consumers have $220 billion in medical debt, according to a February poll from KFF - that’s around $958.61 per adult with medical debt.
Nearly one in five adults said their health got worse because they skipped a doctor’s visit. That problem is more acute for those 64 and younger - 42 percent say their health got worse after putting off a medical visit.

I think most people consider being sick at all reason to see a doctor. I think its pretty easy to gauge if im “wait 2 hours for a walk in appointment” sick or “Drink some green tea and binge a tv show” sick
I’m betting this is where the percent comes from. I literally don’t go unless I know I need to. I’m not going to the doctor every time I have a headache or a cold.
Doctor is still to expensive, we need single payer already.
seems quite a few insurances barely covers, while others cover most of it. i had to buy mines off an ACA plan recently. and only the ER/AMBULANCE , surgery, surgeon fee, and hospital stay i try to avoid. all general care is “low cost”, also specialty drugs, you will face extreme resistance from any health insurance, because they dont want to cover 400-1000+$/month drugs.
This is all made up what if, trying to make a fake number or shitty science fit. 92% is straight up bull shit. It’s propaganda. But it’s okay cause it’s your propaganda you agree with.
Dang you caught us! The Healthcare system actually works and nothing needs to change at all because its perfect.
And we would have gotten away with it if you hadn’t come by this thread. A shame.
It’s okay to make up shit when it aligns with your own world view , totally forgot, my b.
