I think the Lemmy logo being a blank-ish Lemming works well for it. Kinda like an invitation to add in your own characteristics (similar to how one would make their owninstance), even if that design choice wasn’t the intention of the creator.
If there’s a redesign needed, maybe the proportions could be changed, but idk.
it also works on small sizes, while most alternatives in the post don’t.
