How is it not for a 57 year old car? Not even 2k a year…
That’s what I put on my 206 (that had already quite a bit more on it) on 7 years, including 2020 (Covid) when I barely drove it. I bought a used 2015 car last year with 75k miles, and I consider that ‘almost brand new’. Both with 1.6L 4 cylinder engines, quite smaller than the beast op is talking about that must have a 5-6 litres v8 at least…
It’s all relative, most cars from +50 years ago were lucky to make it a 100k miles before needing a major overhaul or just giving out completely. Even in the 80s the average person would be buying a new car every 3-4 years.
