Straight up propogandapropaganda. US is chasing our tail out of the entire region. Bases, satellites, radar destroyed in the wake of Iranian attacks. Bessent threatening to attempt to destroy the world economy over the loss, but the last time we took action on the Chinese (the people who buy all the Iranian oil) they fucking cut off our rare earth minerals. We lost, we are impotent in our loss and will rage until a new president is in office who WILL pay the restitution the Iranians are demanding to put the world as close to back together as possible post Trump.

This isn’t some pocket win that’ll come to fruition in 3 years. It’s not just Iran at risk of starving, it’s the world with the lack of fertilizer. Iran is in a position of relative power having just defeated us entirely. American hegemony is broken, that’s what we will see the results of over these years.

One analysis written by Hamid Paktinat, the founder of the Forum of Economic Activists, suggests the construction of alternative pipelines and export routes by Iran’s Gulf neighbours will halve the strait’s strategic value within three years.

Do these people think the Iranians don’t know this lol.

      build alternative to the SoH

      Iran waits patiently

tens of billions of dollars of infrastructure are completed, comissioned, and finally begin operating.

tens of thousands of dollars worth of Iranian kamikaze drones fly into this brand new infrastructure, slipping past tens of billions of dollars worth of missiles.

Yet releases from the SPR continue unabated. From the article, the straight will be halved in importance in 3 years. LOL. 3 years of skyrocket powered gas prices and mass starvation? The Iranians have a lot more to say on the matter.

It’s not just oil that makes it important. Plenty of major ports and cities exist on the strait

Could the reason a deal can’t be reached is because Trump demands too much? Europe, China, and Russia should get together and negotiate with Iran. Iran trusts them more.
