Why is it even necessary? Border crossings are at a historic low. If necessary, just put up concertina wire. These can be easily removed when no longer needed.

Any violation will result in invasion by the US, Europe, and any other nations willing to join in. If Iran agrees to the proposal, all sanctions will be immediately lifted. This proposal saves face for Iran, since its leaders could claim that its nuclear program was always for peaceful purposes. It also saves face for Trump who could claim that all he wanted was for Iran not to have nuclear weapons. The war in Iran is spiraling out of control. This might be the only peaceful way out.

This is my proposal to end the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Egypt will be given the West Bank enlarged by land equivalent to the Gaza Strip. In return, Israel will be given the Gaza Strip and land at least 3 times larger than the West Bank in the Sinai Peninsula. Some of the land will be adjacent to water so Israel can build desalination plants. The Sinai is inhospitable, and Egypt doesn’t have the technology to develop it, but Israel does. With its new land, Egypt can give it to the Palestinians, make it a state within Egypt, or whatever it wants.

The US is retreating from EVs, but I don’t think that’s the case for Europe and Canada. For them the problem is China is making EVs that are cheaper and possibly more advanced. Europe and Canada should encourage the best engineering students worldwide to study there hoping they will stay and keep Europe and Canada competitive in EVs. If China’s EVs simply are cheaper Europe should impose tariffs unless China buys European and Canadian products to prevent a huge deficit. China sending students and tourists would help in reducing any deficit.

This is what Europe should propose to Putin. Russia will withdraw from all land it seized from Ukraine after the 2022 invasion. NATO would be dissolved and replaced with a European alliance. Ukraine and Canada would be permitted to join but not the US. All sanctions against Russia will be lifted. Russia will not be required to pay reparations. If Putin doesn’t accept the proposal, the UK and France would send troops to Ukraine.

Researchers might leave the US for other countries which will result in the US falling behind other countries in science and technology.
