My local city council gave Doordash a 5 year exclusivity contract in good delivery in our market, which led slowly to all of the local pizza places and Asian food places getting rid of their delivery drivers, so even if I want a local pizza delivered from a local pizza place, I still have to use Doordash.

This would mean that pizza is worth more to you than your principles about the matter.

Actually, given that most pizza joints will happily sell you a pizza for take-out, it just means their laziness of not wanting to go get their own pizza means more than their principles on the matter.

And that in-person pickup, by the user or their friend or someone else they paid, is for some reason or another completely out of the question.

I literally don’t ever order delivery so these sort of can’t-do-nothing takes around Doordash are completely foreign to me, but that is just me.

Well, you can see from my comments that it’s not just you… But there are few of us left.

The same services usually do both, so why are we judging the people getting a pizza but not the one getting some groceries?

Is that a serious question? I don’t know whether to laugh or cry…

Yes that is exactly what I’m saying. And you’re not even twisting my words or anything. Good job, goodbye.

TIL that america is SO shit, that take-out junk is the only thing disabled people can get to eat…

Now you are beginning to understand how the U.S. isn’t even country, it’s just one giant corporate cartel and the people living here are only useful as fiscal assets. Yes.

Okay, so we’ve established that anyone wanting to get something to eat that they haven’t cooked from scratch at home is a lazy piece of shit.

Why not ban the restaurant industry altogether then?
