Twin Peaks. 2 seasons came in 1990-91, then a film came in 1992, then another film in 2014 which was basically extra scenes shot for the 1992 film. Then in 2017, came the third season, this screenshot is from the third season.
It’s a weird show, though.

i guess there were rumors he was working on another season. and i suppose it was finished in a way, but the ending also felt to me like a setup for a completely new direction. but who knows. david lynch probably didn’t really think about a greater story arc anyway, didn’t seem like his process.
I used to follow him on Twitter. I’m pretty sure he said in a post, it wouldn’t happen.

I think he was fully retired and just looking to take it easy.
apparently he had one more series in the works, although not related to twin peaks. anyway, i guess we’re lucky he did get to make so much stuff. i’ll have to catch up on everything soon
