I got this blackstone out the trash last week. Cleaned her up and I’ve been making some good stuff.
Result: mid.

These are chicken titties right?
Looks like you chopped it on the grill without letting it rest after it was done cooking.
No rest = no juice
I think you are right, that was a dumb idea
Got a nice even golden brown sear on that chicken
My son asked me why people grill instead of using the stove, and I had no real answer for him. Can someone help?
Space and heat.
It’s hard to cook 10 burgers on a stovetop, especially without anywhere for the grease to go. You can cook 3 patties max before it’s being boiled in grease on a pan.
It’s hard for typical cookware to get to and maintain 500f like this griddle can. Only way to get perfect sealed sears on meats is high heats.
Not just fire, outside fire. This is also why hardcore charcoal fans look down on propane: it’s too much like a stove
You also tend to cook differently: more sear, Maybe pick up some flavors from smoke! And it’s nice that any smoke is outside. Actually I’ve lately been doing more “baking” on the grill, most recently a pan of Mac and cheese.
Nothing is more rewarding than using a proper dutch oven and coals to bake bread or cobbler. It tastes so much better.
Can’t wait to try it
Because fire is the Devil’s only friend.
Man has been squatting in the dirt and burning food for millennia. We are just too civilized to squat anymore. Besides, it tastes good.
Ain’t nothin’ dull about that!
Lucky duck finding that in the trash!
Hell of a find
This is my kinda dull! They they look delicious, I need to get a place that allows grills asafp!
