What’s your favorite community on here? Slap that link below
I appreciate you guys so much! I never expected to keep your attention for so long. 😁
I’ve gotten to learn so much and do some pretty amazing things thanks to you all coming to hang and talk about these superb birds every day.
ahhh you got me - this is exactly what I posted looking for

The most wholesome and non-toxic men’s space I have ever found.
Unnecessarily gendered, imo.
Non-male identifying people post there as well, I don’t recall it ever being an issue.
We’re all just hanging out, reorganizing closets and moving dirt around, it’s pretty dull.
You have dirt? Coooool
Yes, I know. I still think making it about gender in the comm name is unnecessary.
Everyone is welcome in the dull men’s club so long as they are dull enough. It’s existential.
That one has a better name. Unfortunately it appears much less often in my feed than the other one.
my kind of vibes
mostly a quality shitposting community, but, sometimes, just a nice community.
really. just some nice people with a fucked up sense of humor. so weird.
!birding@lemmy.world is where I spend most of my time. I stay active and many others do too.
some good shots on here
Yup, but we welcome bird shots of any variety.

I still don’t understand what that community is. I’ve seen it for years.
It’s just a meme shitposting page with a light trans focus. I’ve learned a decent bit about trans people/issues just from chatting with people over there.
The convention when posting is to work the word “rule” into the title as the rule of the community is you must post before leaving (which is itself just a joke).
!dailygames@lemmy.zip because everyone needs a break and play some dailygames once in a while
Great mod, with a constant stream of discussion!
I got super annoyed by lightnovels over there because it’s Japanese only and I mentioned in a comment a Korean novel. A mod rightly called me out.
It was clearly against the rules but that’s annoying. I don’t event track if a novel is Korean or Japanese since they’re all translated. (Names are hard to remember so I just switch it to MC in my brain)
I can’t speak of other /c’s on the instance, since I hardly ever venture out of !anime
But different /c’s, so different mods and people…
I have no idea how my brain chemistry works, but sometimes when I’m depressed and I go to !historyartifacts@piefed.social and it seems to help a bit. It’s just neat stuff I guess.
Just a tad biased :D
Beat me to it! :P
This is a good one
🙌
!worldbuilding@lemmy.world . I love seeing other people’s raw imagination
a very unique one, one ofthe first i joined, is !ididnthaveeggs@sh.itjust.works
lololol
says it’s empty?
Lemmy.world mods deleted it.
You’ll need to move to a better instance if you want to view the best parts of lemmy.
Likely defederated from your instance. It is from mine.
idk how you guys can stand your instance deciding what you can and can’t see, i purposely chose an instance that federates with essentially everyone.
i keep an eye on what community and instance i’m looking at and posting on but I like to see all the different posts and communities and decide for myself.
are .zip instances generally less “restricted” than others? can see both of those communities fine.
I generally agree with you , but if anything I think my admin is too permissive and continues to federate with instances who really should have gotten the boot ages ago. So long as that state remains true I’m happy to continue staying where I’m at.
The nature of federation is such that it’s going to naturally cause people to congregate along ideological lines, and as long as the threshold for migration is as high/low as it is (impossible to migrate an account, but trivial to abandon one and make a new one), my only ‘requirements’ are ‘dont cross the pain threshold, I don’t want to do more work to shitpost on the internet’.
!flippanarchy@lemmy.dbzer0.com same thing but maybe not as active
That community is a lot more pro-AI than mop, which can piss off a lot of people.
