Assumptions can be dangerous and make you look like an idiot. There has been zero proof that Gates was involved with minors and I’m not going to go that far until there is at least something pointing to it besides the fact that he met with Eipstein.

I believe Trump’s made similar claims. Good thing the files are full of redactions.

Epstein was more than a child trafficker. He dealt in information, blackmail material and financial… “services”, as I understand it. Having been had contact with him isn’t immediate proof of any specific crime, because his portfolio is so wide, and also because I imagine a snake like him will have slithered into many places the high and wealthy congregate.

The question then is the extent and nature of the connections. On one hand, I’m all for being cautious about assuming guilt.

On the other, this is a billionaire we’re talking about. I find myself less charitable with good will when it comes to parasites of that caliber.

        Exactly. Blackmail.

I suggest you actually do some deeper reading into this whole mess. I got too bored and the image completely changed for me. It’s way deeper and and Occam’s razor is not going to work here. Eipstein really did a lot of blackmailing, it was already proven that some emails were straight up fabricated.

That aside - it is now known who the two women were, and Bill did not met them thru Eipstein, neither were they underage. The whole Eipstein mess actually came after these two women.

And this is why we have courts and rule of law and not mob rule. The mob clearly is ready to hang him. And if he is guilty, he should.

But at the moment, there is no clear proof that I’m aware of.

So it’d be fucking nice if people would take a damn step back and concentrate on supporting the rule of law and getting this evidence into courts so that we can have the best possible chance of convicting and punishing the guilty.

Because let’s be clear: I support punishment for all who are guilty.

But mob rule is what the fascists want and thrive on. Trump says “X is guilty” and the fucking cult goes nuts and presses for their death.

Can our side NOT be like that? Please?

My only misgivings with the court of law are that they’re slow (a necessary byproduct of diligence) and that the law they’re adjudicating is biased (really more of an issue with the legislation). There is also the problem of corrupt or biased judges, but corruption is a universal concern.

They’re still more reliable than a lynching based on suspicion and emotion.

I agree. Just clarifying why I think people are calling for him to go to prison.
