Former Trump administration official and wife of top Trump aide Stephen Miller, Katie Miller, posted Saturday on X (formerly Twitter) an image of Greenland covered in the U.S. flag with the text “SOON”.

How has it not been made clear to you that the 2nd amendment people ARE Trump supporters.

Plus the firearms people have access to don’t work against the state. They really want people to try, but that’s the problem with left leaning people, we think before we act.

These fuckers are putting MRAVs and other armor in the streets. Your small arms fire just tells them where you are loudly and quickly.

We must never fight on their terms. We must never fight how they are trained.

The import and sale ban does not apply to drones already authorized by the FCC, meaning you can still buy and use existing models (like current DJI drones) until stock runs out, but future models won’t be available.

You may not have an option, buddy.

Once the US starts invading other countries it’s kind of a one way street

Greenland is threatened again, and after Venezuela, people are listening. Mexico is threatened again and you bet your ass that both Mexican government and US army trained cartels are preparing. Mexico doesn’t have any army to speak of, but Mexico will be the US next Afghanistan. Bodies and blood will flow.

And how do you think it’ll end when the US tries to invade Canada?

Can they please just stop this madness

Huge chunks of our problems are Rupert Murdoch (Australia), Leon Musk (South Africa), Peter Thiel (Germany), Congress (Israel), and the POTUS (Russia). Maybe the rest of the world can not bother with America’s problems, but deal with the ones you’ve sent us?

No, I’m cranky from people upthread putting all of the responsibility on us, when their countries ain’t so sweet and innocent. There’s a line a kilometer wide in fluorescent yellow between the 9/11 attacks back to U.S. imperialism, for instance, but Britain, Netherlands, Germany, and Russia all had their own brands of imperialism which are far more responsible for raising up those men to wealth. This is more a problem of class than nationality.

The current regime COLLABORATED with the Kremlin to get in power. As is a lot of other fascist movements in the world. I think we can safely blame a foreigner.

The one big problem is the lack of desire not to vote.

Those rich foreigners go there for a reason.

And the desire not to vote is a human problem, far from uniquely American. Denial and dissociation are how people get through lots of life, if my own experience as well as conversations with Russian and Chinese friends are any indicator. And the reason that the wealthy foreigners come here is that the U.S. has been the current center of economic power. They would have gone to London in the 19th century.

And, for the record, I don’t actually expect that non-wealthy South Africans can do anything about Musk, but then, neither can non-wealthy Americans.

Maybe in your mind, but it’s the reason the US is where it’s at.

It isn’t the 19th century. The reason Murdoch went to the US is a fertile ground to milk for that wealth.

Yes, non wealthy Americans could have done something about Musk…voted, because he himself admitted had Harris won, he’d be in jail.

The US government has made it so a well armed militia cannot overpower them in any shape or form. Want to tell us how to shoot down a drone at 10,000 feet before it vaporizes us? I’m all ears.

The only way this gets fixed is through a (unlikely, by design) general strike, other countries dumping US bonds, or if by some miracle the midterms actually happen.

The US military will be defeated financially, not on the battlefield. In the end, the US empire is collapsing for the same reason every other empire in history has collapsed. Ultimately they are not financially sustainable. When you build your whole economic model on continued expansion and exploitation, the whole thing collapses once you reach hard limits and can no longer expand.

I’m far more heavily armed than most. I could outfit my entire block, though they’re already armed; young, old, liberal, MAGA. Yes, even the little old black lady across the street.

What the fuck do you want me to do? I’m sick of these smartass posts. Give me fucking instructions and be clear or STFU.

Fuck me. Saw what looked like an ICE thing in Alabama today, put my Colt .45 under my leg while trying to get my immigrant wife the hell back to Florida. There’s a 12-gauge pump leaning on my desk 24x7 and the AR-15 leans on my nightstand. Being that there’s no ICE around here, want me to hunt some down a couple of states away? Be clear in your instructions.

I now lock my doors, have a gun in reach everywhere I go and live in fear. And you assholes, “LOL! Where my 2A boys at?”

Yeah this is the part they don’t want to accept because it’s ugly and it’s risky. It takes courage and conviction, and it takes planning and commitment.

There are very few people who can do this, and even fewer who can do it successfully and also live a reasonably normal life without getting caught. The problem is that all the 2A people got convinced they were the vanguard but never actually were told what that means. They bought into the hype but never understood what it really meant. Now when it gets real and it gets ugly they find out they never were that guy, and they just wanted to cosplay as that guy because the guns are cool.

They don’t realize that the military that our government has used in other countries will easily be used against us, and has far greater firepower than we could ever have. I’m armed, in case shit goes down, but I will not last long against the military industrial complex in the US. Not to mention a ton of people here are disabled and have not had real healthcare in years.

If just a group of us, or your neighborhood, for example, goes out against the government, the insurrection card will be played and everyone will be arrested, shot, and/or vaporized. It would take a fuck ton of people to rise up, and then you run into the same issue as the general strike. How do you keep people fed? We already can’t do that now, so we’d need to set up the infrastructure to be able to feed everyone while we weather the storm.

Have you petitioned your government to send MANPADS and other concealable, man-portable weaponry to groups in the US?

Because that’s realistically what it would take. The US and NATO countries started helping Ukraine it its fight by sending in these types of man-portable weapons, drones, etc. They’re they type of thing that’s small enough to be snuck over a border in large numbers. And they’re the types of weaponry that could actually allow militia groups in the US, armed with civilian weaponry, to plausibly resist the military in any real capacity. Of course, the only source for this type of weaponry is other nation states.

Realistically, any rebellion would need extensive foreign support. Just like every other rebellion/insurrection that’s happened over the last century or more.

So, I ask again, how many letters, emails, and phone calls have you made to your leaders, encouraging them to send military grade weaponry to US resistance groups?
