What stopped you?
What stopped you?

Right, it could happen to anyone, but it’s still possible to lower the chance of that happening, or at least limit the damage when it does happen.

To secure your stuff. Hacking and social engineering are both easier than you think and identity theft is devastating. I know most people here already know that, but having worked in tech support, it’s unbelievably common to skip even the basics, not to mention my grandparents who think I’m just paranoid.

You’re right that everything is political, but you don’t need to analyze the details 24/7. Sometimes it’s OK to just be too tired to think right and want to watch some mindless cat video. Also you might be able to recharge thinking about politics, but for most people it’s very draining, especially nowadays. Taking time for self care is the only way most people are able to engage without burning out or going insane, which once again, helps no one.

Very deep and sub bass. Both travel through the ground more than the air, so not only does it go far and wide, it’s also very hard to block. I can use earplugs for most loud music, but even a combo of earplugs, gun mufflers, and a white noise machine is just rendered ineffective against deep/sub bass. On top of being extremely annoying, it’s also not really good for your health.

You can still keep up with politics while wanting the occasional break. If you don’t take breaks, all you’ll accomplish is burnout or straight up losing your mind. Neither of which helps anyone except for the fascists.

This made me laugh, and after an insanely rough day, I really needed it.

Remember how they caved and gave him all that money? Yet they’re being threatned yet again. It just shows how dictators can never be satisfied.
I have an idea! I know it won’t be quite the same as what you were doing before, but there is a way to make this easier.
What I do is use an automatic bread machine with a nonstick bucket. Instead of sourdough, I make multigrain bread. I just measure and add in the ingredients, turn it on, add the seeds when prompted, then take it out when it’s done. Currently I’m making whole grain bread and experimenting with various ratios of oat/dark rye flour, flax meal, and chia seeds.
Cleaning isn’t too hard, since the bucket is nonstick. I spray some dawn powerwash, wait about a minute, then fill the bucket with hot water, and let it soak overnight. When I clan it the next day, it comes right off. I usually wash the measuring cups/spoons about that time too.
It doesn’t use a ton of energy, and is manageable with both carpal tunnel syndrome, and ADHD/depression. Plus it’s very nourishing, and gives a small boost in overall energy.
