Not even close to the worst pixel per inch though. That would be probably a drone array in the sky im guessing assuming they could be made to stay perfectly in sync, ppi could be as bad as you wanted it lol. This does make me wonder what the extreme limits of ppi can be and still be usable. You would probably need to be on the moon or in space to be in the ideal viewing position. Having to acount for the limitation of the speed of light to produce the picture on that “display” would be an impressive feat of engineering.
Did you really build a dyson sphere just to build a bigger tv? Yes yes i did
Pixel pitch takes into account viewing distance.
The displays in the sphere are 16K displays. They look insanely better than your monitor from the ideal spot in the venue.
Their display has 64x more pixels than yours.
9.818127340823 should be the pixel density if my numbers are correct.
The numbers i was able to find(please correct if these numbers are not accurate)
160,000 sqft display converted to inches 23040000 sq/inch
16K x 16K resolution equals 15360 pixels x 15360 pixels So thats 235,929,600 pixels
Various Notes.
The article says
Those GPUs power 16 internal displays, each with a resolution of 16K, alongside 1.2 million programmable LED pucks coating the exterior of the sphere.
Did you literally stop reading mid sentence? Or are you just not able to read good?
Reread what i wrote and thought about it today.
What message im hoping to say is its all downhill from here. Autopilot and AI will be crammed into every piece of tech imaginable and car manufacturers tech has always been trash, I dont know what its going to look like at the bottom but weve gone over the cliff already and we wont know what its gonna look like in 15 years, but we will dream of what we have today.
Ill bet you 1 dollar im not wrong
Uh cars now have subscription services for various features. You dont just get whats in the car when you buy it second hand, you still have to pay to use those features.
Repair costs are stupdily expensive in comparison, and require significant diagnostic tools to do simple things because everything in your car has a sensor in it.
And cars are now spying on you to your insurance company because you dont actually get to decide if they are allowed to use your data or not
Sure cars have a lot more features, but they used to just work
The article suggested there are quantum computers not available to the public. Easier to get restrictive laws passed for things that arent ready for public consumption, but they all know the pulic is going to get those things eventually and put into place barriers before people care about them.
Its some long term thinking for it to be true, but it tracks they might be using something that behind closed doors, is leaps ahead of what most people know about
Ooh ill add it to my list! Thanks friend
Haven’t listen to dungeon crawler Carl, but He who fights with monsters is also a good series
More directly. The playstation was developed as an expansion for supernes. Then nintendo changed their mind and sony decided to keep developing it as their own device
Created their successor in following generations
Great show, but binging seasons gets rough
I think it’s a personal choice, or at least i didn’t have any specific reason not to watch the movie first. They are a fair bit different but if you watch the series first that’s a lot of Alan alda to unsee if you watch the movie afterwards so i think it’s better for your movie experience if watch it before the series, and it was released first so there’s that
Only as abserver, not a student. But thats cool you are close by , maybe o could come watch you DJ if you do live shows sometime
Can i ask everyone to please watch the movie M * A * S * H in honour of Donald Sutherland passing… And share then share your experience here.
Im very curious how it will be received, i wont be surprised by some problematic aspects, but it was an impactful movie (and tv show)
I think they dealt with subject matter that might be important in this current era
If you’re ever working in Vancouver, can i come job shadow you for a few days? Always been curious about the technical side of audio production
My thoughts exactly when i was watching old seasons of Canadas worst drivers
Nail, head
Reality tv shows took this the farthest its so bad
Not sure why you bringing that up? Is that somehow relevant?
