U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has ticked slightly lower in recent days as more Americans worried about the direction of the U.S. economy as the new leader threatens a host of countries with tariffs, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

The six-day poll, which closed on Tuesday, showed 44% of respondents approved of the job Trump is doing as president, down from 45% in a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted January 24-26. Trump’s approval rating stood at 47% in a January 20-21 poll conducted in the hours after the Republican’s return to the White House.

The share of Americans who disapprove of his presidency has risen more substantially, to 51% in the latest poll, compared with 41% right after he took office.

I’m fully aware what the words mean and that actual socialism was far, far away from the goals of that party. The Nazi party used the word socialist in their name to get people’s attention. Fascism cannot coexist with socialism.

My point is that you aren’t going to get the average American MAGA to say they are Nazis. It’s not because of the genocide, but because they don’t want to be considered socialists.

https://www.britannica.com/story/were-the-nazis-socialists. <-The answer is definitely NO, but explains the use of language to deceive the populace.

This poll is from 2019, but I would experct more than 69% of Republicans would reject the idea of socialism now. After all, isn’t that the point of cutting all these social services? https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2019/10/07/in-their-own-words-behind-americans-views-of-socialism-and-capitalism/

Americans turn a blind eye on their own genocide. We were taught that the cowboys were the good guys and that ‘Indians’ were stupid killers (except for maybe some of the good ones). We had a mission from God to expand. The trail of tears and other atrocities are hardly mentioned.

Americans knew about the persecution of Jewish and other people, but didn’t act until Pearl Harbor.

So, my point is that MAGA is the new Nazi, but you can’t say Nazi because Nazis are socialists and socialism is unamerican.

My point is that you aren’t going to get the average American MAGA to say they are Nazis.

Who cares what most of them admit to? They won’t even admit that all their psychobabble about “DEI” is just because they cannot get away with shouting the n-word in polite company.

Calling them racists gets their dander up, even though so many of them clearly are.

My only point was that Nazi as a label applies to a terrible fascist regime that convinced a country that their Jewish population was the source of their troubles and had brutally murdered millions.

MAGAs are a terrible fascist regime that has so far convinced a country that their immigrant population is the source of their troubles. They are using Capitalism as their tool. Eventually they may end up at the same place, but the American ego will reject being a socialist faster than being a Nazi.
