KDE, Gnome, Gamescope and now Wlroots already have a working implementation of the protocol. 2025 Year of the Linux Desktop.

Not so fast, we still need a complete accessibility protocol on wayland, and wine/proton need to be running wayland natively. Then we’ve really won.
