I thought theory was a fire/smoke leaking /explosion inside the tent caused by the homemade stove leading to them cutting their way out and running, and then getting separated and lost in the confusion, before succumbing to hypothermia
That does seem to fit the findings. Then missing eyes and tongue are just birds or rodents chewing them out.
Avalanche. There’s no debate among serious, intelligent people.
Would an avalanche have buried/displaced their tent and bodies?
I’m guessing the discoveries were far later, allowing time for it to melt off
