If you are accused of driving with a suspended license, you probably shouldn't show up to a virtual court hearing while driving.

      For real though, why was his license suspended in the first place? Like, I feel way differently about this story if the defendant is a repeat drunk driver vs someone who just didn’t pay to register their car or whatever.

        There’s also the non-zero chance he wasn’t informed his license was suspended. Not sure about Michigan laws on that though.

        It doesn’t matter why, it’s suspended and he shouldn’t have been driving regardless of “was it right or wrong”. He dug himself deeper in the hole
