Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has dubbed Ed Sheeran a “p****” who has “done the wrong thing” amid the ongoing controversy over Macklemore being pulled as a support act from Sheeran’s tour after expressing solidarity with Palestinians on stage.

For anyone who doesn’t want to watch the included video: p**** = prick

Edit for formatting

2nd Edit: I have just learned that Waters has very publicly supported Putin in the war on Ukraine saying, that Putin governs carefully and makes decisions based on consensus? So it’s pricks all around in this story.

A complete POS called Sheeran a name and is right. You are really at low point when that asshole Waters calls you out and is right.

We have a Roger Waters style far-right politician in Romania. Her name is Diana Sosoaca. She’s pro-palestine and a close friend to Russia. Appears on Russian TV regularly. She’s terrible and a true anti-semite. She is pro-palestine literally because she is anti-semitic. She’s also in legal trouble for promoting fascism.

Oh, I remember this weirdo. Behaves like someone who’s desperate for attention and drama, no matter the cost.

You’re not pro-Palestine if you’re antisemitic. Palestine has always been multiethnic and multicultural until Zionists started enacting their plans of ethnic cleansing.

I knew it was over for Sheeran when I read his excuses post on social media and he included a paragraph that started with “I am not complicit.”

If you have to come out publicly to argue you’re not complicit you’re probably complicit.

I hadn’t hear this so I looked it up. You aren’t kidding.

The veteran Pink Floyd rocker, Roger Waters, has addressed the UN security council at Russia’s invitation, and called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine. But he was denounced by the Ukrainian ambassador as “just another brick in the wall” of Moscow’s propaganda.

The Russian delegation’s invitation followed an interview Waters had given to the Berliner Zeitung in which he had been highly complimentary towards Vladimir Putin, who he said, according to a translation on his own website, “governs carefully, making decisions on the grounds of a consensus in the Russian Federation government”.

What the fuck. Putin governs carefully and makes decisions based on consensus? I guess you’re right. It’s pricks all around.

the thing with Waters is that he’s an oldschool conspiracy nut - so for every reasonable point he makes about 50-100 bullshit points that negate one good point he makes every now and then. He could’ve said stopped at ceasefire without elaborating and it would’ve been naive but benign - but he decided to elaborate and it was downhill.

At least he’s not making documentaries whitewashing the dictators like Oliver Stone.
