    Unfortunately it’s pretty hard to tease these things apart because depression itself causes weight gain and there are medication adherence issues especially with longer term studies, but the most well-controlled data suggests that sris don’t play much of a role in weight gain for most people

      I mean what does “cause weight gain” even mean because mine didn’t cause weight gain, at least one of mine caused me to feel a black hole in my stomach. I was perpetually hungry, a hunger that I couldn’t satisfy. It also increased suicidal ideation and action and also did not help my depression. Hope this helps!

      Ya, I was being silly, my weight gain has other sensible explanations
