    This is why we need HIPPA laws for privacy. Police will happily skip an investigation if a magic 8 ball just tells them who to arrest

    Even if we defeat flock, there’s a dozen more companies ready to take their place

    Facial recognition should never be a basis for arrest. It should only ever be used to narrow results and point an officer down a path to get concrete evidence. Facial recognition algorithm output should not be admissible as evidence.
