I’d imagine this will be a net plus for his ticket sales, but that’s not why he did it, as far as I can tell. the band that basically burned all bridges with Ed Sheeran. That’s also probably a net plus for them, since they can now do their own music and be “the band that stick to their principles and quit Ed Sheeran”. Meanwhile Sheeran has to find a new opening act, new backing band, etc or risk big forfeit clauses in his performance contracts. I’m guessing you just don’t have any actual principles you’d put ahead of money or chasing celebrity?
