hi, i am currently looking for an alternative for a tablet pc and i was wondering if there’s a way to set up a wireless display under linux? and if you could recommend a display and adapter or a manufacturer that’d be much appreciated too?!
looking for a dumb display or monitor without any functionality besides being a wireless display. maybe 8" diagonal (16:9 or 16:10) and it doesn’t even need a battery (in fact i’d prefer if it was wall power only).

There’s no dumb wireless display, that product category doesn’t exist. Not that it wouldn’t be possible; there’s also “dumb” wifi-connectors around (you “dial” the IP via it’s pins) but nobody really uses that in products, they all run a whole OS for wifi.
