It beeps when you press the button.

It beeps when you place it on the base.

But today, it beeps no more.

    i prefer the tactile vibration with “button” presses, but that takes more battery than a beep. i’d rather have the battery life.

    my favorite science fiction future I/O bullshit was from Mass Effect, where you could have little haptics implanted in your fingers, what would vibrate on “impact” with the virtual panel (yes, i read allllll the journal and codex entries can you tell). one of the reasons i like science fiction is some of those dreams (the well-dreamt ones, anyways) eventually become realistic.
