You didn’t read the link you posted (typical). It says 24% don’t prefer to continue fighting until victory and most prefer a negotiated settlement.

It does not mean surrender. It means, rather than fight to the Kremlin, they want to negotiate a halting of Russian aggression when they agree to leave their territory. It could mean some concessions are fine, but this doesn’t go into any detail. It’s next to useless to draw any meaningful conclusions.

Also, it’s a fucking year old. Get newer sources if you want to keep making this claim.

It means they don’t want to fight any more, and despite that fact, innocent civilians are being kidnapped off the street and sent to the front lines.

Who wants to fight ever? I don’t know why you keep going on about this. War fucking sucks. No one should want it. Does that mean you just let warmongers invade and never try to defend against them? Hell no.

About the “kidnapping them off the streets thing,” yeah, drafts suck. This is far from the first draft in history. Russia is doing the same. It sucks that people are dying, but that’s sometimes necessary for the better outcome. If Russia succeeds, people are going to be murdered too. They have literally committed genocides after successful invasions in the recent past.

Again, why are you so focused on Ukraine stopping? You have yet to say anything about the aggressor (Russia) stopping.

At the end of the day, they’re the ones who decide the outcome. They have refused any reasonable peace negotiations, which is what the “we want to stop fighting” people are asking for. It’s not an option with the want-to-be Emperor Putin. Luckily, for all people, the last Emperor who forces an endless invasion was overthrown. Hopefully the people of Russia still have it in them to do the same again.

Deeply unserious comment. Again, I’m sure the Ukrainians are thrilled that you’re willing to fight til the last Ukrainian, but they do not want to continue the war.

Oh my God! Why do you keep repeating this‽ You aren’t even engaging with the fact that no one ever wants to continue wars! That doesn’t mean you want to surrender, right? Answer the question!
